This set includes three separate games with a number of scenarios. The Battles of Smolensk and Lubino reflect actual historical events. The campaign game explores what might have happened if the Russians had decided to make their stand against Napoleon's invasion at Smolensk rather than at Borodino. The possibilities include an opposed French crossing of the Dneiper River, and the destruction of the Russian Western Armies, or a bloody set back for Napoleon. |
