Set in the late 1980s, this game postulates a different Gulf War began Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz, choking off the West's vital oil supply. The US immediately sends the 29th Light Division to retake the Strait, hold it, and wait for reinforcements. The questions posed by the game are: 1) can the US light division stop the Iranian Revolutionary Guards; 2) would the Soviets intervene on the side of the Iranians; and 3) would US reinforcements arrive in time? |
