Computer War in Europe still in development
The Windows edition of Computer War in Europe is moving forward through the debugging process slowly - the developer and play testers are all working on CWIE in their spare time and this is a brand new program for a new platform so it is difficult to estimate the time to finish. Karl reports that he is confident the game will be finished within a few months as there is just debugging and documentation completion to go. The game will continue in pledge status until it is ready for production. All pre-orders have been converted to pledges and will receive the better discount. When the game is turned in and enters production, a letter will be sent to all CWIE customers advising them of the projected shipping date. Click here for a description of the new edition and a demo of the game.

DG Associates Update

Excalibre Games (Robert Mosimann): Robert reports that his component artist has told him it will be 2-3 months before the component artwork will be finished. Robert is still working on the rules booklets. Once the component artwork is finished, the box covers and pre-press preparation will be necessary and we are estimating that will take four to six weeks. Another two months will be required to complete the printing. Altogether this is looking like shipping won't start until at least June for the first of the four-some: The Conquerors, Battle of Stalingrad, Ancient Conquest, and A Mighty Fortress.

Game Q&A for Kaiserschlacht 1918 and To the Green Fields Beyond can be sent directly to Excalibre Games at newton999000@yahoo.ca

All direct order WITP customers will receive a mailing when this project is ready to print. Art samples are available for viewing on the WITP page (click here for more information).

New Subscription Rates and Frequency!
A change in postal rates as well as a change in the classes of mail plus our internal change in frequency in preparation for launching World at War magazine have resulted in a change in subscription rates. The new rate is $109.97 for six issues (one year). Canada will add $20 per year and non-U.S./Canada will add $26 per year. The positive side of this change is that our non-North American customers should experience faster delivery!  (click here to go to the S&T page).

DG Associates Update
Schroeder Publishing/Wargames (SPW - Dave Schroeder) Middle East Campaigns has been delayed. Gorlice-Tarnow and the Brusilov Offensive are now back in print. Middle East Campaigns will include four full maps (one for each of the four Ottoman fronts (Caucasus, Mesopotamia, Palestine, and Gallipoli) along with three counter sheets. Duration: the Grand Campaign will be the next volume and will include everything needed to play a full Der Weltkrieg campaign game.
