The Decision Games Pledge Program is an online preorder system for gamers to “pledge” their support to purchase future games. Pledge orders will receive a minimum 25% discount from the final retail price. We provide estimated pricing; however, the final price is subject to change based on the latest components, printing, and shipping costs. Please note we never collect funds for pledge games until the game has completed printing and is in transit to our warehouse.

Pledge games are organized the stage they are currently in starting with development. While we provide updates on games in the design stage, we generally will not place them in the Pledge Program until they are in development or testing, and within 12-24 months of release. The stages are (design/pre-pledge), development, testing, final artwork, proofing, printing, inbound transit, and shipping (to pledge customers).

To pledge for games, review the games listed below, and follow the link to the game’s shop page to place your pledge order. Pledges are a commitment to purchase a game when published. No payment information is required in order to make pledges. Credit card information or a check will be required once a game completes production and is in transit to our warehouse; cards will not be charged, or checks cashed until games are ready to ship.

To update your customer profile or shipping information, review and amend your pledge game list, or to enter your payment information when you have been notified a game is in transit and will be shipping shortly, go to your shop account.

Napoleon at War Deluxe Edition reprints the original SPI QuadriGame consisting of four separate battles, each among the important of the Napoleonic Wars: Marengo, Jena-Auerstadt, Wagram, and the Battle of Nations at Leipzig. This new deluxe edition has a full-color instruction booklet, new counter and map artwork, with 9/16” counters, two back printed 22” x 25.5” mounted game boards, and new player aid cards. The basic rules to all four games in the Napoleon at War series are standardized. Each game has its own exclusive rules, which include historical set up and reinforcements, special rules, player’s notes, and commentary by the game’s designer.

The game mechanics used in this series are based on the popular Borodino-Napoleon at Waterloo game system. The scale of each game ranges from 400 to 800 meters per hex, while each game turn represents between one and two hours of real time. Units range in size from demi-brigades through divisions, with each strength point representing between 250 and 350 men or an equivalent amount of artillery.

Movement is sequential and single-phased. Zones of control are rigid, and combat is mandatory between adjacent opposing units. Stacking is limited to one unit per hex. The Combat Results Table is relatively uncertain, with odds of 4 to 1, or better, necessary to ensure at least a “Defender Retreat” result. Terrain ranges from the Austrian parade grounds south of Wagram to the rough and forested battlegrounds of Jena-Auerstadt. Game length varies from the five-turn First Day Scenario of the Battle of Nations to the 20 game turn Grand Battle Scenario of that same game which simulates the entire three- and one-half-day Battle of Leipzig, the largest battle of the Napoleonic Wars.

The games, though graphically enhanced from the originals, remain the same. Now enhance your enjoyment with this new deluxe edition of another SPI classic!

The Last Raiders is a solitaire game about the last three German raiders of World War I: Emden, Karlshule, and Konigsberg. These ships sought to disrupt the Allied (Entente) commerce and logistics by hunting and sinking merchant ships, bombing ports and coastal facilities, conducting raids, and gathering intelligence. Their success attracted and tied down dozens of Allied ships in defending commerce lanes, ports, and hunting the raiders. As these raiders continued their missions, it became riskier as their growing reputation made them the targets of Allied warships.

The area maps cover the regions each raider operated in. Mission cards are drawn to determine what the raider must accomplish. The player manages the raiders coal storage, consumption and resupply at ports and with colliers. Each turn, the player plans the raiders’ actions for the next several days by allocating coal to actions, then executes the actions, resolving combat when merchants and enemy ships are encountered. Increasing mission success and tonnage sunk leads to increasing encounters with Allied/Entente ships seeking to damage or sink the raider. Success scores Prestige points as does tonnage sunk, failure scores Infamy points – these translate into victory points at the end of the game. Some damage can be repaired and limited opportunities for repairs in neutral ports help keep the raider in the game. This will be published in a Deluxe format with mounted maps, cards for missions and collier management, large counters for ships, Euro-style pieces for coal, damage, captured crews.

The Siege of Constantinople Deluxe Edition reprints the original SPI Strategy & Tactics #66 game while including the Moves magazine Naval Variant. This new deluxe edition has a full-color instruction booklet, new artwork with an enlarged map on two mounted game boards, larger counters, and new full color player aid cards. The game, an historical simulation of the fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Turks in 1453 with rules for two games included – a shorter scenario which covers the final assault, in which most of the action occurred and a longer scenario which covers the entire siege. This deluxe edition, like the original, simulates one of the classic sieges in all of history. Considered the strongest fortified city in the Western world, Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire, had withstood over twenty sieges. This game enables the Players to recreate the famous siege of 1453, commanding the powerful forces of the Ottoman Sultan, Mehmet II, the Conqueror, or the small but able garrison under Emperor Constantine XI and Giovanni Giustinian. The game, graphically improved from the original, remains the same.

1812 Deluxe Edition reprints the original 1812 Strategic Area Map game, refighting Napoleon’s 1812 campaign into Russia. This new deluxe edition has a full-color instruction booklet, new artwork with an enlarged map on a mounted game board, larger counters, and new full color player aid cards. Napoleon invaded Russia with 600,000 troops of which only about 110,000 escaped in organized formations. The largest factor in this enormously deadly campaign was supply. The game design treats this as the central point as the ability of a Napoleonic army to supply itself depended heavily on the surrounding countryside. Areas were stripped of resources to supply the army, and the army had to move or starve within a very short period. This difficulty of command is reflected in the area depletion system in the game. Players must battle attrition, supply, and enemy forces to win. The game offers three scenarios, starting in June, late August, and early October. Optional rules are provided for leaders and fortresses. This deluxe edition includes additional leaders, battle plans, and elite guard forces.

Year of the Rat Deluxe Edition recreates the North Vietnamese Army’s (NVA) “Easter Offensive” in South Vietnam in 1972 through a division-level simulation with each turn representing one week’s operations. The powerful NVA units begin the game inverted and in addition have some dummy units to further confuse the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN). The NVA are also able to move through most rugged terrain while the ARVN are largely confined to roads and open terrain. The ARVN have increasing American airpower as the game goes on while the NVA must cope with supply shortages.

The Deluxe Edition features enlarged counters for ease of play. The map was updated with enhanced terrain analysis and expanded to include portions of Laos. The Orders of Battle were updated and now offer several new variant counters for forces available at the time. Expanded air mobile operations and riverine units enhance the ability of the Allied side to strike swiftly at the elusive and powerful Communist formations. Three main scenarios and 15 order of battle variants offer a whole host of options, including expansion of the map and operations into Laos and Cambodia.
